  1. Parties? Drugs? And so on… I guess I’m one of the boring guests since I always go straight to sleep, and don’t even put the volune of the TV too high.

  2. Few years back, I worked housekeeping at a semi-nice hotel. Like most minimum wage jobs, there’s the formal way of doing your job (boss gives you a list of chores/responsibilities you’re supposed to do), and then there’s the informal way of doing it (rush cleaning). You have a set amount of time to do what’s on the list for each room, but the thing is…it’s IMPOSSIBLE. I tried it once, and I just pissed off my co-workers; almost got fired. The higher ups probably knew this, but they more or less ignore it. It’s probable cause for dismissal, so it’s one less thing to worry about if they want to get rid of you (write you off the schedule…which eventually happened). People wonder why minimum wage employees do a shit job…they don’t have a choice…

  3. No! The first tip is so annoying, mostly people get stuff free when all they do is complain and make our lives miserable.

  4. I worked in a 5 star hotel as a trainee and saw the hotel’s G.M slapping a house man (guy who cleans the floor) because he didn’t greet the guests in a proper way
